We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Concrete Estimator to join our team. The Concrete Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for concrete construction projects, including commercial and municipality work. This role requires a strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing, with a focus on maximizing cost efficiency and supporting profitable project execution.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates for concrete work.
• Calculate costs of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities in the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment of cost estimates with project requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cost databases and stay current with market trends in pricing and construction methods.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews.
• Ensure all estimates meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Track and update project budgets, costs, and changes throughout project lifecycles.

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with specific expertise in concrete.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar).
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
